Distraction Day

Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus. In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.

Tomorrow is surgery day. And I'm amazingly at peace about it. That's how Grace works.

He went with me on a design appointment this morning, then we hit the road towards Charlotte to go to the Bass Pro Shop. It was the perfect way to distract ourselves on the day before.  We made a day of it...lunch, a couple of hours looking at everything in the store, some restocking of baits...it was a really good day.

We spent the evening on the lake trying out the new lures until the sun went down. They worked. :)

Morning will come early. Time for rest...tomorrow's a big day.
