I stumbled upon this story today. As a baseball mom it really touched my heart.

What awesome young women they are! They truly understand the heart of the game. They could have let her own teammates send in a runner. They could have just stood there and watched.
But they acted instead.
What a great example they have given...a memory they will carry with themselves forever.
A lesson we can all carry.
